November 2025 – March 2026
Thank you for joining and supporting Raid Farms! This experiment has been a blast, and I hope you had fun as well.
This server was really a highlight of my life. Ever since my early Minecraft days over 15 years ago, I wanted to run a Minecraft server and create something fun. But I was just a dumb and broke child and my parents wouldn't let me run a server on the home computer lol.
Shoutout to everyone who played and made this fun. The thrill of having 70+ players on this small, bordered world was so fricken incredible. Additionally, thank you so much to everyone who donated and helped make this server possible in the first place - your donor perks will carry over to future projects. Lastly, shoutout to the players who embraced and grinded the wheat economy! Check out the final Raid Farms top 100 wheat leaderboard below.
One more person I'd like to shoutout specifically is FlaredBark aka Pinekitten. Even though we suck at running Minecraft servers, they are the best and this whole thing would have gone so much worse without their support and ideas.
It's unfortunate that the experiment had to end. However, so much has happened in the past 4 months, and I really need to reflect on the experience. I've learned that I really like running Minecraft servers, but it is a very demanding responsibility. I still think I have good ideas, but I need to take my learnings from this experience and create a better action plan next time.
So what's next? I'll still be in the Discord. But mostly, I will be focused on the YouTube channel, where I'll be sharing more Minecraft theory, learnings from this server, and possibly some gameplay. The mission is still the same: we need to make Minecraft servers fun again. I hope people get ideas from my videos and apply them to their own servers.
When the time is right, I will begin my next project. A much better Raid Farms 2 will likely be in the works, but expect various different server experiments until then.
See You Soon,
- PineconeLP
